Dopo aver vissuto un’epifania, un ragazzo riflette sugli approcci comunicativi più utilizzati tra i giovani confidandosi con il suo amico Matteo. La sua osservazione lo porterà ad una realizzazione molto più profonda sulla sua persona.

Questo corto nasce come progetto per una candidatura ad un'accademia di cinematografia a Berlino. L'idea mi venne nell'estate 2021, quando provai una cosa simile per le strade della mia città. il tema si sviluppò nei mesi successivi grazie all'aiuto dei miei amici, nonché compagni di università, che mi diedero vari spunti e idee su come svilupparlo all'interno del mio cortometraggio.

"L'opera tratta efficaciemente il tema esistenziale che è centrale nel nostro tempo: la comunicazione, la solitudine, la ricerca di relazionalità, la richiesta di ascolto, sono ben inserite in un percorso di elaborazione che porta ogni essere umano a scoprire la propria identità."

Queste le parole espresse dopo aver vinto il terzo posto come miglior cortometraggio al Villammare Film Festival 2022.

TIÁM è una parola della lingua Farsi e non ha una traduzione italiana: essa è la cosa più vicina ad un colpo di fulmine, che non si prova però solo a livello amoroso, bensì scaturisce in chi lo prova un'emozione, un'epifania, un sentimento tanto forte, derivato dall'incrocio di due sguardi completamente sconosciuti.

La preproduzione, la raccolta delle idee e l'organizzazione del tutto, è durata tre mesetti; la produzione, grazie tantissimo alla collaborazione di tutto il cast e del set, è durata una settimana; la postproduzione, che comprende il montaggio e color grading è durata altri 3 mesetti.

Questo progetto tratta di una tematica a me carissima: la comunicazione di oggi, una comunicazione che non funziona come tale, che porta al fraintendimento e alla rottura di ogni tipo di rapporto. Un argomento che mi ha segnato e mi accompagnerà per tutta la mia vita.

After experiencing an epiphany, a boy reflects on the most used communication approaches among young people confiding in his friend Matteo. His observation will lead him to a much deeper realization about his person.

This short was born as a project for an application to a film academy in Berlin. The idea came to me in the summer of 2021, when I tried something similar on the streets of my city. the theme developed in the following months thanks to the help of my friends, as well as university classmates, who gave me various ideas on how to develop it within my short film.

"The work effectively deals with the existential theme that is central to our time: communication, solitude, the search for relationships, the request to listen, are well inserted in an elaboration path that leads every human being to discover his own identity ."

These are the words expressed after winning third place for best short film at the Villammare Film Festival 2022.

TIÁM is a word from the Farsi language and does not have an Italian translation: it is the closest thing to a love at first sight, which however is not felt only on a loving level, but rather an emotion, an epiphany arises in those who experience it, such a strong feeling, derived from the crossing of two completely unknown gazes.

The pre-production, the gathering of ideas and the organization of everything lasted three months; the production, thanks a lot to the collaboration of all the cast and the set, lasted a week; post-production, which includes editing and color grading, lasted another 3 months.

This project deals with a topic dear to me: today's communication, a communication that doesn't work as such, which leads to misunderstanding and the breakdown of any type of relationship. A topic that marked me and will accompany me throughout my life.
